An overview of the various community activities that can earn a Sun Point reward
The Daylight Sunnyside program rewards passionate community members for helping grow our decentralized energy network. Whether you're creating content, running events, helping others get started, or spreading the word online, your contributions help bring more power to more people and can earn you Sun Points in the process.
Below, you’ll find a list of actions that can earn Sun Points, along with typical reward amounts and how often each activity can be submitted.
Note: All submissions are subject to review. Sun Point rewards are granted at the discretion of the Daylight team and may vary based on the quality, impact, and originality of your submission.

Quality matters. Sun Point rewards are granted at the discretion of the Daylight team and are based on the quality, impact, and originality of your submission. Low-effort or spammy content will not be accepted.
No plagiarism. Any submission found to copy from other sources without proper credit will be automatically rejected.
Keep it real. Submissions that rely heavily on AI tools without added originality, perspective, or intent will earn reduced rewards. We value authentic, human-driven contributions.
No duplicate submissions. Resubmitting the same content across multiple weeks or channels will not earn additional rewards unless meaningfully updated or adapted.
One reward per action. Each contribution is eligible for a single Sun Point reward, even if shared across multiple platforms.
Stay on-brand. Content must align with Daylight’s mission, values, and messaging. Misleading claims or off-message material may be rejected.
Respect the community. Content that is offensive, divisive, or violates community guidelines will be disqualified and may result in removal from the program.
Timeliness counts. Submissions should reflect current products, features, and campaigns. Outdated or irrelevant content may not qualify.
Use approved visuals. All creative submissions must follow Daylight’s visual brand guidelines. Please refer to the Brand Kit for official logos, colors, and design assets.
Point values may change. Sun Point rewards are subject to change as the program evolves. We may adjust values over time to reflect quality standards and ecosystem needs.
